The Founders of Heritage Builders Publishing believe that the nation will follow the pathway the homes of America channel for their children. We believe our Family Night Series are books that are second to none in helping the parent to instill quality traits in their children that will prepare them to meet the challenges in the world ahead.
Although we are a family based company, we have launched into other book genres that we feel have value for Christian living. Dr. J. Otis Ledbetter
J. Otis Ledbetter, Ph.D. resides in Clovis, California with his wife Gail, where he is an author, conference speaker, and the Senior Pastor of Sonrise Church. He is Chairman of the Board of Heritage Builders Global, a ministry in partnership with other national ministries, and a cooperative network of families and churches committed to passing a solid heritage to the next generation. He earned his Ph.D. in Education from LBU in 1984 and is currently pursuing another Doctorate at Liberty University. He is co-founder and co-owner of Heritage Builders Publishers, LLC.
He and his wife, Gail, have three grown children and ten grandchildren. He is a frequent conference speaker, and has written numerous articles for magazines. He specializes in Heritage Builders workshops nationally and internationally, which teaches parents and grandparents the spiritual, emotional, and social components of the heritage they are passing to the next generation. His books include Your Heritage, Family Fragrance, Family Traditions, Extending Your Heritage, Spiritual Milestones for Your Children, In the Secret Place, and his most recent release, The Greatest Gift (a compilation with other authors). He has been featured on radio and T.V. broadcasts including The 700 Club, Thomas Road Baptist’s T.V. Angel Network Show, CCN, Moody Broadcasting Network, CASA Radio Broadcast, and other call-in shows where parents and grandparents frequent with their questions. Dr. Smith is the Managing Partner, Co-Founder, and Co-Owner of Heritage Builders Publishers, LLC. His extensive education includes a BA in English, a Masters of Divinity, a MBA in International Business, a Ph.D. in Business Management, and he also attended Law School. Dr Smith is a successful businessman establishing and operating several companies before founding the Heritage Builders Publishing Company in the summer of 2009. He received International recognition when he published the video, The End of the Cold War, and Its Effect on the Economy in the 1990’s. Dr. Smith is the author of eight books including the bestsellers Exploding the Doomsday Money Myths, Why It’s Not Time to Panic published by Thomas Nelson Publishers 1995, Lie 2K, Why the Computer Crisis is Really Just a Hoax published by Meister Press 1999, Put Your Money Where Your Heart Is published by Meister Press 1998, and Financial Communication in the Marriage a DVD seminar published in 2010. He published CLEARFIED in 2009 a novel contest winner with Amazon.com and is the first of three novels including Chronicles of the Knobs, and Cross of the South to be released in 2014. Dr. Smith’s newest release, Life Under Pressure, Moving Beyond Financial Meltdown is the first of a trilogy of books that deals with the downward pressures negative circumstances in life can bring and how to recover from them.
