Heritage Builders wants to come alongside you and your church to support your efforts in building strong families.

Two institutions that God has ordained are the church and the family. The two were meant to be interdependent not independent. The church emphasis needs to be growing and equipping families to pass their faith to the next generation. The traditional family is the most effective instrument ever designed to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. The vast majority of believers come to Christ when they are children, through the influence of their parents. The church and family cannot work separately from each other if God's people are to be successful in modeling their faith in this current generation and passing their faith to the next generation. You cannot have a strong church without strong families and you cannot have strong families without a strong church. The "link", or connection, between the home and church is critical to the success of their interdependent relationship.

The church's emphasis now becomes that of building strong homes and training the trainers – dads and moms – in their positions as the spiritual leaders and hearts of the home to pass on their faith to their children.

 

How do we do this together?

Heritage Builders believes that the future of the home lies in the success of the church and its ability to train people for marriage and parenting.

This is why this ministry was started nearly 10 years ago.

First of all, we don't have all the answers. But, we share a common goal with you.

Together we can learn how to make a significant impact in the homes of today's generation and generations to come.

Heritage Builders is here to provide you with:

1) A Friend at Heritage Builders - We are not a website, an email or a piece of mail. We are Moms and Dads in ministry too.  Call us or email us and you will get a real person who is happy to help in anyway they can.

2) Consultation - Our team is learning from pastors everyday. A partnership with us is a two-way relationship. We want to help meet your needs but learn from you in the process. Don't be a stranger!

3) Events - We currently offer the following events to help you and your church build a Family Ministry:

Family Ministry Training Seminars
We will cover, in detail, how to build a family ministry or enhance your current efforts to teach and support the families in your church. There will also be plenty of one-on-one time with each speaker to customize a plan for your church. 

Seminars for Parents - The best way to launch your Family Ministry is to host a seminar for parents.   That's right, Heritage Builders will send representatives and speakers to your church to help build excitement and anticipation for your new ministry efforts. Formats include a 2-hour or 3-hour presentation. Your investment to cover travel expenses and attendee materials is minimal compared to the impact you will make. This event was designed to be affordable for churches of all sizes.  Call us to discuss the possibility of hosting an event.  Read our seminar kit.

4) Conference Calls - We invite you to participate in our conference calls with church leaders from around the world. Once a month we open a forum for you to ask questions and hear from other church leaders and our Family Ministry in Focus team. Group participants include leaders from other Family Ministry Organizations such as Focus on the Family, the Association of Marriage and Family Ministries and the National Association of Family Ministry. There is no cost to join in. Just let our team know you are interested in participating by emailing us at info@heritagebuilders.com.   

5) Newsletters - The Family Ties E-Newsletter is a complimentary resource to help address Family Ministry issues and solutions. We welcome you to send in any articles or suggestions.  These is also an opportunity to sign-up for other great, complimentary resources for Pastors and Churches through the Family Ministry Network.

6) Resources - Family Ministry is a big vision and Heritage Builders is working tirelessly to create a Scope and Sequence for you and your church. We will work hard to make you aware of all the latest and greatest resources for families, church leaders, small groups and Sunday School. New resources are in development even now. Be sure to read each issue of Family Ties and check our website each week for the latest. Resources are not limited to kits or books. Rather, we offer may complimentary resources on our website for church leaders and parents alike.  Remember, our team is here to help you be successful in implementation of Family Ministry. If you have questions about a resource or just need general direction or guidance on how to utilize a resource effectively, don't hesitate to call or email.

7) Prayer Support - Sometimes in ministry, you feel a bit isolated. So, our Pastoral Ministries staff - most of whom have walked in the same ministry shoes as you - is available for a word of advice, a listening ear and prayer support.
